Introducing Renee:
When we first met Renee, it was clear that she’s a quick thinker, easily catching on to the nuances of projects with complex webs of stakeholders and incentives. The stickier the project, the more curious Renee got.
Renee is originally from Ghent, and now lives in Rotterdam. During her master’s in Delft Renee set out to become a product designer, but after an exchange in Copenhagen, she came back with a backpack full of systems change and sustainable transitions frameworks. This special combination of big thinking with the urge to make things real (silverclay earrings, felt hats and wooden pavillions in Renee’s case) matches spectacularly with Futurall’s ethos: making complex transitions tangible.
Renee is a foodie, sustainable fashion enthusiast and recently discovered her love for playing soccer on Rotterdam's communal fields.
We are really excited to work with Renee in the next few months! She'll be working on a couple of key projects: a community visioning project for the mental health platform Mentaal.nl and on the next version of the Food Systems Compass (tailored to secondary schools). Read Renee's blog about it here.

How do people take ownership and find their own solutions to reshape the food system.

Launching Earthlings - project platform dedicated to engaging with the “polycrisis” through culture

Two opportunities to get involved with our projects this fall.

This blog shares our process of developing a youth friendly tool for making sense of the nuance of societal structures.

This post is intended to explain the different parts of the Compass for Change tool.
